GCN Alumni Mucha Pawandiwa breaks into a male dominated field with a top Civil Engineering Degree

I have been reading Mucha Pawandiwa`s  profile and I am happy to announce that Girl Child Network empowerment model is out to ensure many young women like Mucha Pawandiwa know the potential in them and work to unleash it.It is not so much about girls receiving donations and being beneficiaries.The model I developed in 1998 at Zengeza 1 High is meant to churn out strong educated and empowered girls and most of the work is done by the girl herself and not the organisation or donor.GCN instils,facilitates and provides the means but the rest it is the girl who does it

I never dreamt one day on I would be on Zimonline Radio talking to my girls about their many achievements and recording each and every story and go back to our poor marginalised girls to further inspire them .This is just the beginning of building a GCN Alumni where girls empowered go back to empower even more girls .

Most of my shows will record all stories from girls like Mucha and then we will get solar radios and create a network to have girls who are marginalised listen to such inspiring stories and then develop a self belief and determination to achieve .

It is not that girls are not as intelligent and smart as boys but they lack positive role models like Mucha
